Girls Incorporated of Los Angeles (GILA) is now a locally incorporated organization providing effective and renowned programs that address unique challenges facing girls in Los Angeles. Our mission remains the same - to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. And we will continue to provide our effective and renowned programs designed to address the unique challenges facing girls in Los Angeles.

Six years ago- as a fledgling pilot project- Girls Incorporated was determined to implement our researched based programs as effectively and efficiently as possible without compromising program quality. We established several partnerships and collaborations that are now hallmark of Girls Incorporated of Los Angeles' programming. This way of work has significantly strengthened our community presence, maximized our resources and most importantly, enhanced the delivery of our programs to the girls most in need.

For over 55 years, Girls Inc has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high risk, underserved areas. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.
